Abstract

Introduction: Rheumatoid neuropathy of the median nerve (MN) is the commonest nerve entrapment neuropathy. Diagnosis of CTS in RA is often dependent upon electrophysiological evaluation. However, direct visualization of the nerves is possible with exact localization of site of disease with neuromuscular ultrasound (U/S). Aim: to evaluate Carpal tunnel syndrome in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by neuromuscular U/S and Electrophysiological studies. Subjects and Methods: 30 RA patients were included and were compared with 30 normal subjects as control group.
